Body Maintenance

To reduce your daily discomfort

Tips for stretches and exercises

-Try not to bounce

Stretch in a smooth movement without bouncing. Bouncing as you stretch can injure your muscle and actually contribute to muscle tightness.

-How to Hold

Breathe normally and hold each stretch for about 30 seconds, and if you get to 2 minutes in a stretch, try to stand up and shake it out give the muscle time to breath.
Don't Aim for Pain

-Don't Aim for Pain

Expect to feel tension while you're stretching, not pain. A little sensation isn't bad, but if it hurts, you've pushed too far.

-Drink Enough Water

A large reason we stretch is to bring circulation to an area and keep the muscle functioning properly. This becomes a lot more available with a healthy amount of water in our bodies.
